MARIANA MALHEIRO
Mariana Malheiro studied painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Lisbon and the Kunsthochschule Kassel (Germany). Working mainly with drawing and oil painting, her work develops narratives about human relationships and social conventions, often depicting moments of communion and leisure.

She has participated in solo exhibitions at Espaço Cultural Mercês e Casa do Comum (2024) and Rua das Gaivotas 6 (2022) in Lisbon, and has taken part in group exhibitions at Monitor Gallery (Lisbon, 2024) Brotéria (Lisbon, 2023), Arquipélago - Centro de Artes Contemporâneas (São Miguel, 2022) among others. She frequently participates in artist residencies and publications, and her work is represented in the Luso-American Development Foundation and private collections.

Her work has been featured in publications including Umbigo Magazine, Dose Magazine, and Portuguese Emerging Artists 2023.
